Once a Flower met a Pearl.
Flower: "Our family is large ; Roses & Daisies are members of the family. There are many of us having distinctive scent, appearance etc. Suddenly, while speaking a tinge of distress appeared on the flower.
Pearl: "Nothing for sorrow in your talk, then why are you suddenly depressed?"
Flower: "Humans deal with us carelessly ; they do not grow us for our sake but to get pleasure from our fragrance & our beautiful appearance,& then they throw us on the street/in the garbage after using us. Also, our beauty does not last long, it withers away soon. The flower sighed and said : "Tell me about your life. How do you feel? You are buried at the bottom of the sea, yet you seem to happy & at peace with yourself, ever-shining!!!"
Pearl: "Although I have none of your distinctive colors & scents, humans think I'm precious. They do the impossible to procure me.I live in a thick shell that protects my beauty deep down in the dark seas. However, I'm happy & proud to be in this safe zone far from wanton & mischievous hands & still the humans consider me highly valuable."
Think what the Flower n the Pearl symbolize!!!
The Flower is the unveiled woman (who shows her charms to strange men)
&
The Pearl is the veiled woman (who conceals her beauty out of wisdom)
Precious gems are always hard to get!! Not easily available for all to see!!!! :)
Sisters in Islam, wake up!! You are not like the other women, you are unique, precious & valuable. Conceal your beauty & Allah (swt) will enhance it for you inside-out insha'Allah! Have we forgotten that our eternal home is Paradise? Any woman who dresses in skimpy clothes attracts attention- does that mean she is "beautiful" ?? Or has she just decked up to look "attractive" for wanton display?? Dear sisters in Islam, keep your charms for the Mahrams in your family & not for any Tom, Dick & Harry on the street!
Let the ignorant have their fake glory in this world- you will have it for eternity insha'Allah. Don't doubt Allah's promises. This life is indeed a test for the Hereafter & every soul shall be paid for what it earned.
Know that the Hijab will always reign supreme and "the true man" (i.e. the Muslim man), will forever be dazzled by the beauty of the Muhajjabah (woman who wears the Hijab).
Some Words of Wisdom: Have you ever observed the faces of some very Pious people? They have a special NOOR/GLOW/LIGHT on their faces. Is that what you want sisters? Or an artificial caked look full of makeup? And "skin show" just for attention without any elegance? Noor comes only with a certain level of piety & constant obedience to Allah (swt) & to be honest, that is true beauty along with grace. Lets strive to gain that closeness to ALLAH & reach that level, you have nothing to lose. Beauty in this life & the next!!
Hayaa(shyness) is what proceeds from Iman (belief).
"Al-Hayaa (modesty & bashfulness) is from Imaan (belief) and Imaan is in Al-Jannah (the Paradise)." (At-Tirmidhi - Saheeh)
"Hayaa (modesty and bashfulness) and Imaan (belief) are fully associated together, if one is lifted the other follows suit." (Narrated by ‘Abd Allah bin ‘Umar; related by Al-Haakim in his "Mustadrak")
Prove your Iman with actions, not just lip-service.
“The Power of Imaan is such that once it fills the heart of a true believer, it is impossible to be removed.” (Sahih Bukhari)
My dear sisters in Islam, know that these women who beautify themselves for the world to see possess no Hayaa; thus, they are void of any Iman(belief). Instead of looking to the latest fashion models for guidance, you, my dear sisters, must look to the righteous/beautiful women of Islam, the women from the families of our beloved Prophets (peace be upon them all). They are gonna be the ROYAL CROWD in the life to come (Hereafter). So do you wish for their company? Or the company of the people of the Fire?
It is quite difficult for some of you to go out wearing Hijab in a society that mocks and torments you. I know that you, indeed, feel strange and out of place. However, if you knew the status of those who are mocked by the Kuffar (disbelievers) as well as the status of the strangers, you will continue to wear your Hijab with confidence & pride.
Allah (SWT) says in His Book:
"Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery); And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; and when they saw them, they said: ‘Verily! These have indeed gone astray!’ But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). But on this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers. On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?" (Surah Al-Mutaffifin 83:29-36)
Allah’s (SWT) words should serve as a support for you my dear sisters. Also, take comfort in being a stranger among these lewd and sinful women. Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said:
"Islam began as something strange, and it would revert to its (old position) of being strange, so good tidings for the strangers." (Narrated by Abu Huraira and Reported Sahih Muslim)
The women of the kuffaar (disbelievers) , they only have this life to enjoy while the believing women will have Al-Jannah (Paradise). There is nothing in your Hijab whatsoever to be ashamed of as it is the garment of the righteous and pious female slaves of Allah (SWT). In order to truly show you how "low ranking" those women are in the eyes of Allah (swt) who make As-Sufoor and At-Tabarooj (wanton display of beauty), let us ponder over the following statement of Allah’s Messenger (SAW):
"Of the people of Hell there are two types whom I have never seen, the one possessing whips like the tail of an Ox and they flog people with them. The second one, women who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others. Their hair is high like the humps (of camels). These women will not get into Al-Jannah (the Paradise) and they will not even get to smell it's fragrance , although its fragrance can be perceived from such and such a distance." (Sahih Muslim)
Sisters in Islam, these women who practice At-Tabarooj (wanton display of beauty) are common among us today. These are women that even the Prophet (pbuh) did not see! Look around you and you will see those women who are clothed but yet naked! Look at the hair styles of the women who practice At-Tabarooj - are they not high like the camel’s hump? (Miss world etc??) My dear sister, perhaps we are the first generation since the time of the Prophet Adam (AS) to witness such women. If one ponders over photos taken thirty to forty years ago, one will see that the women of the Kuffar did not make At-Tabarooj as their offspring do today. These are women who will be in the Hell Fire, unless Allah (SWT) guides them to Islam! Thus, how can you envy them? My brothers, how can you desire them over your creature of Hayaa? These women will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise. This Hadith also shows us that what the Prophet (SAW) came with (i.e. the Qur’an and the Sunnah) is the Haqq (truth)! This is a prophecy that has come to pass in front of our very eyes.
So where does wisdom lie? Do you want to be with the misguided women/the people of the Fire/disbelievers in the Hereafter for eternity ? Or with the honoured Queens of Islam in peaks of Paradise? You decide!! Peace & Tranquility in life comes only from obedience to Allah (swt) orelse you too will be wandering blindly to & fro, running after the Duniya like the kuffaar & get nothing out of it except that which was destined for you!!
{Note: Hijab is FARDH (obligatory/compulsory). NOT SUNNAH OR OPTIONAL. It is a command given by Allah (swt) in the Qur'an.}
Know that there is a deep Wisdom behind every command of Allah (swt)!
